Why I Prefer to Always Be Positively Optimistic

Lately, I've been debating the benefits of being positive versus negative. It's often said that Optimistic people walk around with rose-colored glasses. On the other hand, realists are seen as naysayers.

Those of you that follow me, know that I preach encouragement--a spiritual word for optimism. Optimism--healthy optimism is beneficial for our mental health. Being negatively realistic is a downer; who wants to associated with a downer? Certainly not me.
